This Privacy Policy describes policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service (frisk.space & Matrix server) and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Friendly summary of the Privacy Policy

  • The sole owner and maintainer of services (website and Matrix chat service) is Frisk, you can contact me using email goat@frisk.space,
  • server is hosted in Poland,
  • when you use the website the only information collected is your IP address, time of visit, what resources you accessed, user agent and referral header (everything your browser provides to any website you visit) and is stored for 3 months, all of this is what servers usually collect,
  • when you use Matrix server you can provide more information such as profile picture (avatar), pseudonymous nickname, various media (files) and messages you exchange, all of this information is used by the Service Provider only to provide you the service (ability to chat),
  • when you use Matrix server the information detailed above can be shared with 3rd parties due to how Matrix federation works, if an user from different Matrix homeserver is in the same room as yours, their homeserver has access and partially duplicates all information from the same chat including contents of messages, avatar or your nickname,
  • other than everything mentioned above there is no additional tracking methods I employ, I don’t have the need to collect data as I’m not in data selling business. I’m a single Internet user who enjoys the idea of decentralization, ever since kid days I’ve always stood for ideas of privacy and I hope to help others move to more private means of communication that aren’t controlled by surveillance capitalists,
  • if you ever visited or used a thing I host and want to remove all of your data from service hosted by me, let me know and I’ll make no issues about removing it unless for some weird reason I’m legally obliged to keep it due to legal order.

That’s it for human friendly summary of privacy policy.
